Arlington, VA – March 1, 2020 – ACO Insurance Group welcomes Ben Hyson as Executive Vice President. He will oversee the firm’s North Carolina office and marine insurance division which serves the Southeast. ACO Insurance Group specializes in providing insurance and risk management services to businesses and individuals throughout the Eastern US.
Ben brings nearly 20 years of experience and specialized knowledge having worked with a diverse range of businesses, from complex multi-national corporations to smaller family-owned companies. Ben has brokered coverage in 14 states, as well as internationally. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University and earned his Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP) and Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations from The American College.
Prior to joining ACO Insurance Group, Ben worked for a Top 10 national broker, a specialized international agency in Washington, D.C., and spent the first 11 years of his career with one of the largest mutual insurance carriers in the country.
